Illuminated Street Parade
Saturday 9 August
It’s time to dust of the fairy lights and get the wallpaper paste out of the
cupboard for the Whale Festival Street Parade of 'illuminated sea creatures'.
The parade of illuminated floats will proceed down the Esplanade as the highlight

Parade commences 5.30pm. The Esplanade will be closed between Denman's Camp Road
and Beach Road.
The Street Parade will turn left out of Frank Street onto the Esplanade travelling
along to the festival at Seafront Oval in time for the Fire Event to commence.
