The Illuminated Street Parade

Everyone dust off the fairy lights and get the wallpaper paste out of the cupboard
for the Whale Festival Street Parade.
The parade of illuminated floats proceeds down the Esplanade to the Seafront
Oval as the highlight of the Hervey Bay Whale Festival.
The Parade commences at 6.00pm.
There are prizes for the best floats in the parade, for both businesses and community
groups.
Float entry forms and details of prizes will be added to this page soon.
PUBLIC LIABILITY REQUIREMENTS:
Please Note that registered vehicles are required to have 3rd Party Property
Insurance and Unregistered Vehicles need to have a Qld Police Permit including
Third Party Insurance or Public Liability Insurance (from Qld Transport). This
is all that is required. Please see Entry Form for full details.
